TUTORIAL

COURTSIDE COACH'S APP FOR PLAYER PERFORMANCE AND MATCH ANALYSIS.
This powerful application delivers real-time statistics for live tennis matches,
including video replays within 30 seconds after play.

COACH'S APP

OVERVIEW

The app features four sections:

  • 1. Scorebug: displays live score duration as well as the average rally for the match

  • 2. Match Stats: official statistics, including detailed statistics, updated in real-time throughout the match; also provided by Set.

  • 3. Performance: includes Serve Performance, Return Performance and In-Play Performance

  • 4. Point Trail and Video: 

CREATE

YOUR ACCOUNT

  • Once you have provided your email address,
    a link will be sent to your email. Click that link.

  • Username: Enter your email address.

  • Password: Create a password and enter it here.

  • Select "LOGIN".

CHOOSE

THE TOURNAMENT

  • Click on SELECT TOURNAMENT and choose "US Open 2023"

  • For SELECT PLAYER, enter the name of the player and select it from the dropdown list.

  • At SELECT MATCH, scroll down to select the match you wish to follow.

FIRST SCREEN

TAB 1 DEFAULT

The App contains seven sections:

  • SCOREBUG: Displays the Live Score, the Duration, and the
    Average Rally for that particular game.
    ​​

  • MATCH STATS: A list of official statistics, plus detailed statistics that change as the match progresses and accumulate throughout the match.​​

  • SERVE PERFORMANCE: The Default Screen which shows the Serve Performance for both players.

  • RETURN PERFORMANCE: This corresponds to the second screen and shows the Return Performance.

  • IN-PLAY PERFORMANCE: The third screen which shows what happens during the development of the match.

  • SEARCH SECTION: This allows users to search the "Point Trail" by game, score, serve or return speed, and go to a specific point to rewatch. In addition, you cango to any particular set by selecting the bubbles.​​

  • POINT TRAIL AND VIDEO: Provides a brief description of the points, such as the score, who is serving/returning, speed of serve/return, direction of serve/return, as well as both depths and how the point ended.​​

FIRST SCREEN

TAB 1-3 SERVE PERFORMANCE

A. PLAYER FILTER

  • 1. Player 1: When selected in "BLUE", it displays that player's data

  • 2. Player 2: When selected in "BLUE", it displays that player's data

B. SERVES

  • 3. First Serve: When selected in "BLUE", it displays the player's filter selected + 1st Serve.

  • 4. Second Serve: When selected in "BLUE", displays the player's filter selected + 2nd Serve.

  • 5. BRK PTS: When selected in "BLUE", displays the player's filter selected + Break Points.

C. SET

  • 6. Set 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

  • 7. All: Accumulative statistics throughout the match are displayed.

NOTE: Metric or imperial can be selected at any time to switch from meters and km/h to ft and mph.

SECOND SCREEN

TAB 2 RETURN PERFORMANCE

D. PLAYER FILTER

  • 8. Player 1: When selected in "BLUE", it displays that player's data.

  • 9. Player 2: When selected in "BLUE", it displays that player's data.

E. POINT STATUS

  • 10. All: When selected, all Returns of the chosen player are displayed.

  • 11. BRK PTS: When selected, it displays all Break Point Returns of the chosen player.

F. RETURN

  • 12. 1: Displays all Returns from the 1st Serve.

  • 13. 2: Displays all Returns from 2nd Serve.

G. SIDE

  • 14. Deuce Court: Shows all Returns from the Deuce Side of the court (including Contact Zone and Target Zone).

  • 15. Advantage Court: Shows all the Returns from the Advantage Side of the court.

H. STROKE

  • 16. F/H: It will show all the Returns made with the forehand (including Contact Zone and Target Zone).

  • 17. B/H: It will show all Returns made with the backhand.

  • 18. All: It will show every stroke.

I. SET

  • 19. Set 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

  • 20. All: Accumulative statistics throughout the match are displayed.

J. TARGET ZONE

  • 21. A: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

  • 22. B: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

  • 23. C: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

  • 24. D: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

Note: You can select multiple target zones at once. To unselect, click again.

THIRD SCREEN

TAB 3 IN-PLAY PERFORMANCE

K. PLAYER FILTER

  • 25. Player 1: When selected in "BLUE", it displays that player's data.

  • 26. Player 2: When selected in "BLUE", it displays that player's data.

L. POINT STATUS

  • 27. All: When selected, all Returns of the chosen player are shown.

  • 28. BRK PTS: When selected, it displays all Break Point Returns of the chosen player.

M. STROKE

  • 29. F/H: It will show all the Returns made with the forehand (including Contact Zone and Target Zone).

  • 30. B/H: It will show all Returns made with the backhand.

  • 31. All: It shows every stroke.

N. SET

  • 32. Set 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

  • 33. All: Accumulative statistics throughout the match are displayed.

O. CONTACT ZONE

  • 33. A: Select this contact zone to determine the data you wish to display.

  • 34. B: Select this contact zone to determine the data you wish to display.

  • 35. C: Select this contact zone to determine the data you wish to display.

  • 36. D: Select this contact zone to determine the data you wish to display.

Note: You can select multiple contact zones at once. For every area selected, the data coming from that particular contact zone will be shown on the right part of the screen (meaning the target zone area). To unselect, click again.

P. TARGET ZONE

  • 37. A: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

  • 38. B: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

  • 39. C: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

  • 40. D: Select this target zone to highlight the area.

Note: You can select multiple target zones at once. To unselect, click again.
